BACLF supports the charitable and educational missions of the National Lawyers Guild San Francisco Bay Area Chapter and the San Francisco Tenants Union.
The San Francisco Tenants Union (SFTU) produced an updated handbook which educates tenants and tenant advocates about tenant rights.Money was also used to pay staff to educate the public and tenant advocates about tenant rights.The National Lawyers Guild San Francisco Bay Area chapter (NLGSF) provided legal support for organizers and activists through legal observing, operating a legal hotline for arrestees and pro bono legal representation. The NLGSF was also able to continue its Immigration Court Observation Program, in-person Know Your Rights trainings and We Know Our Rights film project.
