Bay Area STAR is a professional, non-profit organization that promotes the common business interests of the media and advertising companies in and around the San Francisco Bay Area. The efforts of STAR are aimed at strengthening the community and future of our industry and creating a greater diversity in the work force. This will be accomplished through fundraising for Outstanding Intern and Scholarship programs; continuing training on issues related to the industry; and providing ongoing networking opportunities.
To provide networking opportunities to further growth within the broadcast industry, including publication of the broadcast calendar; to provide scholarships and internship awards to college students pursuing their education in the communications field.
