The Buckminster Fuller Institute is dedicated to accelerating the development and deployment of solutions which radically advance human well being and the health of our planet's ecosystems.
The Buckminster Fuller Challenge completed its tenth and final cycle awarding grants for the purpose of finding a solution to contributing to food-insecurity and oppressive indebtedness for the poorest rural dwellers, while equipping small hold farmers to face the unpredictable precipitation patterns related to climate change while simultaneously empowering women and the poorest of the poor communities. The Challenge program culminated with multiple high awards and accolades in the prize world. From the Challenge community, BFI has created a catalyst program to bring multiple funding opportunities to these regenerative projects.
