The Cultural Conservancy is a Native-led indigenous rights organization. Since 1985, we have been dedicated to our mission of protecting & revitalizing indigenous cultures, empowering them in the direct application of their traditional knowledge & practices on their ancestral lands.
Our accomplishments include the successful implementation of our programs and grantmaking work, including Native Foodways, Indigenous Media, Land Stewardship, and Mino-Niibi Fund. Our Native Foodways program is a holistic program dedicated to improving the eco-cultural health and well-being of indigenous communities by promoting the revitalization of native foodways, indigenous farming, traditional ecological knowledge, and indigenous nutrition and cuisine. Our Media program is committed to increasing indigenous communities access to media and creating spaces and resources for producing, preserving and distributing native-produced media. Mino-Niibi fund promotes the revitalization of indigenous cultures their knowledge, practices and landscapes in the Americas and the Pacific by entering into respectful grant partnerships with indigenous-led organizations.
