Clean and Safe Program (7/01/19 - 6/30/20): Street Ambassadors collected, removed and properly disposed of 1,182 used needles and bags of litter weighing approximately 73,163 lbs. In addition, 373 instances of graffiti were abated and 115,000 sq ft of linear frontage was steam cleaned.
Ecomonic Enhancements (7/01/19 - 6/30/20): Commenced regular meetings of the Marketing & Communications Working Group with the board; sent out bi-monthly newsletter to local residents, merchants, and fans of DPCBD with updates on the district, as well as ad hoc updates to merchants and residents, with more time sensitive updtes, such as COVID19 PSAs; helped offset the costs of DPCBD restaurants parklets built to accommodate outdoor seating for patrons during the COVID19.
Beautification and Placemaking (7/01/19 - 6/30/20): Maintained existing lanscaping and planters; installed five Big Belly trash cans, which are wrapped in a designer artwork which provides additional branding.
