FUSE Corps is a national nonprofit with a mission to enable local government to more effectively address the biggest challenges facing urban communities. Our approach centers around an executive fellowship program that places experienced leaders in government agencies to help lead high-impact strategic projects. We work with cities and counties on a range of issues, including economic and workforce development, housing, healthcare, education, public safety, justice reform, climate change, among others. Since 2012, FUSE has managed more than 200 projects in 30 cities across 12 states, which have ultimately advanced social, economic, and racial equity within those communities.
Birmingham Strong is a public-private partnership formed to build, link and coordinate people, projects and resources to strengthen Birmingham's COVID-19 response. We exist to strengthen small businesses, redeploy displaced workers, and build a resilient community. With our partners, we have served 2,800+ small businesses, 300+ unemployed workers, 8,800+ Birmingham residents.
