Help bring clean water and proper sanitation to communities in Latin America that lack these basic amenities.
During this accounting period HydrateLife provided funding for our in-country partner, The Association of Fishermen, farmers, indigenous and Afrodescendant Community Development of the Bajo Sinu Cienaga Grande, or ASPROCIG, to providing 130 ceramic water filter systems to the community of Candelaria Arriba, Colombia. One filter system went to each household (total of 730 people), and the remaining 3 went to the elementary school in the community (approx 30 students). This community does not have clean drinking water, and with these systems the water that is collected can now be filtered into clean drinking water.
