Organizations Filed Purposes: Lamplighters Music Theatre (LMT) was founded in 1952 by Bay Area performing artists who recognized a local need for high-quality productions in the light opera tradition, particularly the works of Gilbert & Sullivan (G&S). LMT has remained true to this founding vision. Our mission is to be the premier producer of the works of Gilbert & Sullivan and other works of comparable wit, literacy, and musical merit. We seek to present relevant and culturally diverse productions that delight and enrich audiences, performers, and community members.

Lamplighters offers a broad adult and student education program The adult program consists of workshops and an annual Community Chorus The student program consistsof an in-school assembly program and two m1n1-res1dency programs for students of all ages Approximately 2,200 children part1c1pated 1n this program The Lamplightersalso offer a two-week "Gilbert & Sullivan Scenes" program 1n collaboration with the San Francisco Conservatory of Music 36 children ages 10-18 studied and performed fullystaged excerpts from the works of Gilbert & Sullivan before audiences of 400 We also offer a strong outreach program, and several appearances were made for private and community groups.

LAMPLIGHTERS MUSIC THEATRE PERFORMED the following productions as follows: August 2019. HMS PINAFORE was performed in total 12 performances in four venues for 3910 peopleOctober 2019, DOWNTON AIRBnB original Champagne Gala at Herbst Theatre for 413 peopleFebruary 2020, PRINCESS IDA was performed in total of 9 performances in 3 venues for 3,022 peopleDue to COVID shutdown, we cancelled our three venue tour of a PIRATES of PENZANCE Singalong and All in person school programs were also cancelled
