We have a vision that will evolve as Meriama Fund grows, and that is to help women and girls find their wings. Our first emphasis here will be on financial literacy as a powerful tool for self-determination and empowerment.We support public libraries, those invaluable sources of freedom and deep knowledge. We also support innovative ways to teach and encourage the kind of creative, compelling writing that can give wings to feelings and new ideas.From our own communities to the Himalaya, we support protecting wild places and the creatures that inhabit them. Wild places nourish the soul, and wild creatures remind us that we are all interconnected and have a responsibility to be good stewards

We are drawn to dance that serves as a reminder of the goodness, power and compassion in ourselves and in others, and bolsters a resilient hope for humanity.Martial arts for women offers a path to developing and recognizing their strength,
courage, and the understanding that they are worth defending and that they can also defend those who are most vulnerable.
