Organizations Filed Purposes: TO PREVENT CLIMATE DISASTER AND PROMOTE PROSPERITY AND PROTECT FUNDAMENTAL RIGHTS OF EVERY AMERICAN. NEXTGEN AMERICA IS FOCUSED ON STEPPING UP THE FIGHT FOR IMMIGRANT RIGHTS, AFFORDABLE HEALTH CARE, CLIMATE JUSTICE AND EQUALITY.

PREVENT CLIMATE DISASTER,PROMOTE PROSPERITY,AND PROTECT THE FUNDAMENTAL RIGHTS OF EVERY AMERICAN

BALLOT MEASURE EXPLORATIONNEXTGEN AMERICA CONDUCTED RESEARCH AND POLLING INTO SEVERAL STATES TO DETERMINE THE FEASIBILITY OF BALLOT MEASURES REQUIRING STATES TO MANDATE 50% RENEWABLE ENERGY BY 2030. NEXTGEN AMERICA SUPPORTED BALLOT MEASURES IN ARIZONA AND NEVADA. MICHIGAN WAS ALSO EXPLORED, BUT THE UTILITY COMPANIES AND NEXTGEN AMERICA REACHED AN AGREEMENT THAT THEY WOULD MEET THEIR RENEWABLE ENERGY GOALS WITHOUT A BALLOT INITITATIVE.

NATIONAL YOUTH ORGANIZING PROGRAMNEXTGEN AMERICA REGISTERED VOTERS IN ELEVEN STATES THROUGHOUT 2018, TARGETING THE RISING AMERICAN ELECTORATE TO TURN OUT AND VOTE. NEXTGEN AMERICA HAD A PRESENCE ON HUNDREDS OF COLLEGE CAMPUSES, ENGAGING STUDENTS AND ENCOURAGING THEM TO VOTE FOR IMMIGRANT RIGHTS, HEALTHCARE, CLIMATE ACTION, AND ECONOMIC PROSPERITY.

COMMUNICATIONSTHE COMMUNICATIONS TEAM IS RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL OUTWARD FACING COMMUNICATION FOR THE ORGANIZATION. FITTING INTO THE ORGANIZATIONS MISSION, THE COMMUNICATIONS TEAM GENERATES CREATIVE AND EFFECTIVE WAYS TO BROADCAST THE ORGANIZATIONS MISSION TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC. THE COMMUNICATIONS TEAM HAS GENERATED POSITIVE COVERAGE IN THE NEW YORK TIMES, WALL STREET JOURNAL, WASHINGTON POST, LA TIMES, AND SAN FRANCISCO CHRONICLE, AND ALMOST EVERY NATIONAL MEDIA OUTLET.
