The NVA maintains district cleanliness with daily sweeping as well as periodic hot steam cleanings. The NVA maintains and improves various tree and garden sites; installs new parklets; and produces numerous annual seasonal events that strengthen the community.
Two Street porters clean sidewalks/gutters seven days a week eight hours a day. Two steam cleaners steam clean the sidewalks 10x per year. Remove graffiti, furniture, bulky items,etc. Install 27 flower baskets, maintain street furnishings benches, tables and chairs at parklets.
