The mission of Peninsula Food Runners is to alleviate hunger and minimize food waste in the San Francisco Bay Area. Everyday, Peninsula Food Runners relays a wide variety of wonderfully prepared and non-prepared food to community food support organizations.

The Organization's primary program is Food Recovery and Distribution. During 2019, over 2.2 million pounds of food was recovered and distributed. The program was able to serve 373 recipient agencies and over 13,500 people. The program was made possible by 575 Food Donors and 917 Volunteers.
