Organizations Filed Purposes: Power for All is dedicated to accelerating the access timeline. The campaigns strategy to challenge business-as-usual (BAU) approaches to energy service delivery, and build confidence in the ability of decentralized renewable energy companies to make a meaningful contribution to the global energy mix.

Utilities 2.0 (U 2.0) is a global initiative to unite and test the benefits of integrating centralized utilities and the decentralized renewable energy. The U 2.0 Pilot demonstrates integrated public-private energy planning and implementation. Accomplishments of this program so far include the creation and demonstration of testable business models, the establishment of necessary frameworks for collaboration, pilot site selection, robust data collection, engagement and workshops with 50-60 consistent stakeholders, successful deployment and launch of 12 appliance financed assets, submission of a license exemption application to ERA, and communications. As a result of this pilot, Uganda's largest utility company Umeme, a key partner in the pilot, will have an opportunity to pioneer the this effort and Uganda will provide valuable vision and a path forward for all of Africa to follow.

Through our Powering Agriculture campaign, we connected a body of research institutions working in the energy and agriculture sectors and undertook an analysis of geospatial data on mini-grids and agriculture. We mobilized key international/national agriculture and food organizations to recruit them as champions of the mini-grid sector, elevating awareness. We increased media coverage on the mini-grid/ag nexus, creating a significant increase in the number of media mentions of mini-grids vis-a-vis agrifood. Coverage resulting directly from our work has an aggregate readership of 3.1 million. Our Powering Jobs campaign aims to realize the potential of job creation through renewable energy and off-grid companies. The campaign resulted in the launch of the first ever jobs census to demonstrate this potential and create credible, data-driven evidence that policymakers can act on. In total, the census gathered data from 136 organizations across three countries. The study is now widely cited throughout the sector.

Our campaign work in India, 25x25, uses communications and evidence to re-orient the perspective of key decision-makers on the importance of distributed renewable energy systems. We established a working group called Evolving the Narrative, led a workshop with ongoing follow-up, and established an editorial partnership with ETEnergy World. To encourage and enable a pull-through of these narratives, we developed a social media toolkit, launched the Powering Jobs India Census in July 2019 at CEEW's Energy Horizons Event in New Delhi, and hosted a virtual roundtable on powering healthcare. In building local capacity, we have actively supported CLEAN through mentorship and advice on messaging, branding, and media. We also helped CLEAN launch State of Sector Report, the India Energy for All summit, and have been engaging actively with government and other Jharkhand stakeholders.
