Red Bridge is an independent K-8 school located in the Dogpatch neighborhood of San Francisco. Red Bridge serves a student body reflective of the economic and ethnic diversity of San Francisco. The mission of the school is to develop a sense of agency in every student as the foundation for academic and life success.
Red Bridge currently serves 12 students in the equivalent of K-2. Our student body reflects both the ethnic and economic diversity of San Francisco. We have an individualized approach to tuition that allows the school to be within reach of all families. Annual tuition rates range from $500 - $34,000. Students at Red Bridge are supported in developing a sense of agency over their learning and lives. This is accomplished by teaching students how to set goals, reflect, collaborate and take ownership of their learning. Our teachers meet one-on-one with every student each week, so that every child is known deeply by an adult in the building. Students are grouped based on Autonomy Level rather than grade level and are taught work habits to build student agency. Red Bridge will continue to grow into a full K-8 school.
