Our organization was formed to produce the annual LGBT Pride Celebration and Parade in San Francisco. The mission of SF Pride is to educate the world, commemorate our heritage, celebrate our culture, and liberate our people.
The 49th Annual SF Pride Celebration was held on June 29-30, 2019. The event featured two days of programming and entertainment across more than twenty community-produced stages and gathering space. The event was free and open to the public, with nearly 850,000 attendees over the two-day period. The 49th Annual SF Pride Parade was held on Sunday June 30, 2019. There were 285 contingents in the Parade, with an estimated 50,000 marchers and 100,000 spectators. Through our Community Partner Program we were able to share in excess of $200,000 in proceeds with more than 45 Bay Area non-profits.
