The purpose of the Foundation is to foster national and international amateur sports competition in the field of sailing and to carry on other charitable activities associated with this purpose. The StFYC International Yacht Racing Foundation believes that this purpose is especially well served when focused on encouraging participation by youth and women sailors.The foundation entered into a number of regattas in which one vessel was captained by a woman and several of the crew members were under the age of 30 which is in line with their mission to be inclusive of women and youth in the yachting industry.
