UNIVERSITY GIVING The Swinerton Foundation has made a commitment to support management programs at colleges and universities across the United States. Our involvement with educational institutions centers around support for their academic programs and student scholarships for the best and brightest young students.

Adopt-a-School Program Through the Adopt-a-School Program we aim to improve vocational education in underserved schools. Swinerton volunteers work with teachers and education professionals to develop lessons that supplement their core curriculum, while offering hands-on learning experiences. In 2019, we had two schools participate in the program La Center High School in La Center, Washington, and Fremont High School in Oakland,California.

Community Building Program The Swinerton Foundation partners with local non-profits across the United States to provide assistanceby giving opportunities to community members to access homeownership and by preventing displacement for those who cannot afford home repairs. In 2019, we partnered with four Rebuilding Together affiliates and one Habitat for Humanity affiliate, providing each organization with a grant and volunteers to assist in projects for underserved and disabled community members.
