Organizations Filed Purposes: 1. THE WALT DISNEY FAMILY MUSEUM PRESENTS AN INSPIRATIONAL JOURNEY THOUGH THE LIFE OF WALTER ELIAS DISNEY. OUR MISSION IS TWO-FOLD: TO INFORM PRESENT AND FUTURE GENERATIONS ABOUT THE MAN AND, THROUGH HIS STORY, TO INSPIRE THEM TO HEED THEIR IMAGINATION AND PERSEVERE IN PURSUING THEIR GOALS. TO EXECUTE THIS MISSION, THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDES RELATED EDUCATIONAL, OUTREACH, AND PUBLIC PROGRAMMING.

FUNDRAISE FOR AND OPERATE THE WALT DISNEY FAMILY MUSEUM AND ITS EDUCATIONAL AND PUBLIC PROGRAMS.

OPERATION OF THE WALT DISNEY FAMILY MUSEUM - 2019 ATTENDANCE TOTALED APPROXIMATELY 351,000 ADMISSIONS TO THE MUSEUM AND ITS SPECIAL EXHIBITIONS THAT INCLUDED, IN THE DIANE DISNEY MILLER SPECIAL EXHIB ITION HALL, THE MUSEUM'S 23ND ORIGINAL EXHIBITION, "MICKEY MOUSE: FROM WALT TO THE WORLD", AND, IN THE THEATER GALLERY, ITS 24TH AND 25TH ORIGINAL EXHIBITIONS, "A POWERFUL FORCE: WORKING TO END HOMELESSNESS THROUGH ART", AND "MICKEY AND MINNIE MOVIE POSTERS". THE MUSEUM STORE OFFERS A UNIQUE BLEND OF MERCHANDISE AND PUBLICATIONS RELATED TO THE MUSEUM AND ITS EDUCATIONAL AND PUBLIC PROGRAMS. OUR MUSEUM CAF WELCOMES GUESTS FOR A MEAL OR SNACK. THE MUSEUM IS OPEN 10 TO 6 DAILY. THE MUSEUM IS CLOSED TUESDAYS, THANKSGIVING DAY, CHRISTMAS DAY, AND NEW YEAR'S DAY.

EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS ARE DESIGNED TO AMPLIFY THE MUSEUM'S MISSION. THEY EARN NATIONAL RECOGNITION FOR EFFECTIVE DELIVERY OF STEAM (SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY, ENGINEERING, ART AND MATH) CURRICULUM AND FOR PROMOTING CREATIVITY AND HANDS-ON SKILL BUILDING. IN 2019, 11,221 SCHOOL CHILDREN AND 1,806 CHAPERONES TOURED THE MUSEUM AND PARTICIPATED IN CORRELATED STUDIO EXPERIENCES. OUTREACH EDUCATORS TAUGHT 3,743 CHILDREN OFFSITE AT PARTNER SCHOOLS. EDUCATORS ALSO PROVIDED IN-HOUSE ART CLASSES AND WORKSHOPS FOR ALL AGES, SUMMER CLASSES FOR YOUTH BETWEEN THE AGES OF 8 AND 20, AND A SPECIAL OPPORTUNITY FOR TEENS TO PARTICIPATE IN THE MUSEUM'S INTERNATIONAL TEEN ANIMATION FESTIVAL. IN ADDITION, 3,316 STUDENTS/GUESTS, 5 YEARS AND UP, ATTENDED STUDIO CLASSES RELATED TO ART AND ANIMATION AND PARTICIPATED IN SUMMER CLASSES, STUDIO SERIES, POP UP STUDIOS, AFTER SCHOOL ANIMATION, ANIMATION INTENSIVES, DRAWING WORKSHOPS, OPEN STUDIO, INDUSTRY PATHS, AND ANIMATION LABS.

THE MUSEUM PRESENTS FILM SCREENINGS AND LIVE PUBLIC PROGRAMS, INCLUDING TALKS, PANEL DISCUSSIONS, AND WORKSHOPS, TO ENGAGE AND SERVE DIVERSE AUDIENCES WITH ACTIVITIES THAT SUPPORT AND AMPLIFY THE MUSEUM'S MISSION. PUBLIC PROGRAMING ATTENDED BY 11,114 VISITORS INCLUDED FILMS AND LECTURES ASSOCIATED WITH WALT DISNEY, ANIMATION, IMAGINEERING, AND RELATED ARTS AND SCIENCES.
