THE CORPORATE LEGAL OPERATIONS CONSORTIUM, INC. ("CLOC") IS A 501(C)(6) NONPROFIT ASSOCIATION OF PROFESSIONALS IN THE CORPORATE LEGAL SERVICES INDUSTRY FOCUSED ON:- PROVIDING INFORMATION AND TRAINING ON HOW TO OPTIMIZE THE OPERATION OF CORPORATE LEGAL DEPARTMENTS AND THE DELIVERY OF CORPORATE LEGAL SERVICES TO SMALL, MEDIUM AND LARGE BUSINESSES;- PROVIDING NETWORKING OPPORTUNITIES FOR PEOPLE IN THE CORPORATE LEGAL OPERATIONS ECOSYSTEM TO IDENTIFY WAYS TO OPTIMIZE THE OPERATION OF CORPORATE LEGAL DEPARTMENTS AND CORPORATE LEGAL SERVICES;- WORKING WITH ECOSYSTEM PARTICIPANTS, SUCH AS LAW FIRMS, LEGAL SERVICE OUTSOURCER'S, TECHNOLOGY COMPANIES, GOVERNMENT REGULATORS, ETC., TO DRIVE CHANGE IN THE INDUSTRY TO CREATE AN EFFICIENT MARKET AND BETTER ACCESS TO JUSTICE.- WORKING WITH ECOSYSTEM PARTICIPANTS TO HELP THEM UNDERSTAND WHAT IS NEEDED TO CREATE OPTIMIZED SOLUTIONS FOR INDUSTRY PARTICIPANTS.CLOC IS AN ORGANIZATION LED BY HIGHLY EXPERIENCED LEGAL OPERATIONS PROFESSIONALS. ITS LEADERSHIP TEAM HOLDS DEGREES IN LAW, BUSINESS, FINANCE AND MORE AND CONSISTS OF INDIVIDUALS WHO HAVE FULL-TIME POSITIONS (DAY JOBS) AS DIRECTORS, SENIOR DIRECTORS, AND VICE PRESIDENTS AT SOME OF THE LARGEST AND MOST HIGH-PROFILE COMPANIES IN THE WORLD, INCLUDING GOOGLE, CISCO, ORACLE, FACEBOOK, ADOBE, NETAPP, AND YAHOO. AS OF DECEMBER 2018, CLOC PROVIDES NETWORKING AND EXUCATION ACCESS TO MORE THAN 1,350 FORMAL, PAYING, MEMBERS AROUND THE WORLD AT MORE THAN 588 MAJOR COMPANIES, GOVERNMENT INSTITUTIONS, AND LAW SCHOOLS IN 42 STATES AND 32 COUNTRIES. CLOC MEMBERS INCLUDE INDIVIDUALS FROM 169 OF THE TOP FORTUNE 500 LIST AND 221 OF THE FORTUNE 1000. MORE THAN 500 PEOPLE ATTENDED: THE EVENT INCLUDED MORE THAN 50 EDUCATIONAL SESSIONS WITH MOST QUALIFYING FOR CONTINUING LEGAL EDUCATION (CLE) CREDIT IN CALIFORNIA AND ELSEWHERE. CLOC HELD ITS SECOND ANNUAL CONFERENCE IN MAY OF 2017 WITH NEARLY 1000 PEOPLE IN ATTENDANCE. THE 2017 EVENT OFFERED MORE THAN 70 EDUCATIONAL SESSIONS WITH MOST QUALIFYING FOR CLE CREDIT. THE CONFERENCE HOSTED ATTENDEES FROM IN-HOUSE LEGAL OPERATIONS FUNCTIONS, LEGAL AND OTHER TECHNOLOGY PROVIDERS, LAW FIRMS, LAW SCHOOLS, CONSULTING COMPANIES AND MORE. IN 2018 CLOC HELD ANOTHER ANNUAL CONFERENCE IN VEGAS, NEVADA, AND TWO NEW REGIONAL CONFERENCES IN LONDON AND SYDNEY. THE VEGAS CONFERENCE HAD OVER 1800 ATTENDEES AND MORE THAN 80 EDUCATIONAL SESSIONS. THE LONDON EVENT WAS HELD IN JANUARY 2018 AND SAW OVER 250 ATTENDEES FOR THE TWO DAY CONFERENCE WITH 9 SESSIONS. THE SYDNEY EVENT WAS HELD IN SEPTEMBER 2018 AND SAW OVER 170 ATTENDEES FOR THE TWO DAY CONFERENCE WITH 10 SESSIONS.
