ORGANIZATION-PARISI HOUSE ON THE HILL, INC. (PARISI HOUSE) ESTABLISHED IN 1994, IS A CALIFORNIA NOT-FOR-PROFIT CORPORATION, AND SANTA CLARA COUNTY'S FIRST MOTHER AND CHILD RESIDENTIAL ALCOHOL AND DRUG TREATMENT FACILITY, ALLOWING MOTHERS TO FOCUS ON THEIR TREATMENT PROGRAM WITHOUT THE EMOTIONAL DISTRESS CAUSED WHEN SEPARATED FROM THEIR CHILDREN. PARISI HOUSE PROVIDES LIVING FACILITIES FOR UP TO 20 MOTHERS AND 22 CHILDREN WHO HAVE MADE THE CHOICE TO END THE CYCLE OF SUBSTANCE ABUSE. PARISI HOUSE NOT ONLY HELPS MOTHERS OVERCOME ADDICTION, BUT ALSO ADDRESSES THE PHYSICAL, MENTAL, DEVELOPMENTAL, AND EDUCATIONAL NEEDS OF THE CHILDREN IN ITS CARE.DURING THE YEAR ENDED JUNE 30, 2020, PARISI HOUSE SUCCESSFULLY SECURED ANOTHER FIVE-YEAR GRANT CYCLE WITH THE SUBSTANCE USE TREATMENT SERVICES DIVISION OF SANTA CLARA COUNTY BEHAVIORAL HEALTH SERVICES DEPARTMENT. PARISI HOUSE BEGAN CONVENING QUARTERLY MEETINGS OF RESIDENTIAL DRUG AND ALCOHOL TREATMENT PROVIDERS IN THE SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA SERVICING PREGNANT AND PARENTING WOMEN IN ORDER TO SHARE BEST PRACTICES. PARISI HOUSE ACHIEVED 100% COMPLIANCE WITH STATE DRUG MEDI-CAL REQUIREMENTS IN THE LAST FIVE CONSECUTIVE MONTHS OF THE FISCAL YEAR.PARISI HOUSE CONTINUED TO BUILD ITS TREATMENT PROTOCOL BASED ON EVIDENCE-BASED PROGRAMS. THIS INCLUDED WORKING WITH EXTENDED FAMILY MEMBERS THROUGH THE CELEBRATING FAMILIES! PROGRAM.PARISI HOUSE IS CLIENT-DIRECTED, FAMILY-ORIENTED, AND CULTURALLY SENSITIVE. STAFF RECEIVED CULTURAL COMPETENCY TRAINING. PARISI HOUSE PARTNERS WITH THE SANTA CLARA COUNTY SUBSTANCE USE TREATMENT SERVICES DIVISION TO PROVIDE IN-PERSON ONE-ON-ONE TRANSLATION SERVICES FOR CLIENTS AS NEEDED.PARISI HOUSE CONTINUED ITS PARTNERSHIP WITH OVER TWENTY LOCAL COMMUNITY ORGANIZATIONS THAT PROVIDE BOTH ON AND OFFSITE SERVICES TO ITS CLIENTS AND THEIR CHILDREN.DESPITE THE CHALLENGES RELATED TO THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC, PARISI HOUSE CONTINUED TO PROVIDE SERVICES AND ACCEPT NEW CLIENTS WHILE IMPLEMENTING IMPORTANT HEALTH SAFETY PROTOCOLS.PARISI HOUSE ESTABLISHED A PARTNERSHIP WITH MOD PIZZA TO OFFER GUARANTEED JOB INTERVIEWS AND LIKELY EMPLOYMENT TO INTERESTED CLIENTS WHO WERE COMING TO THE END OF THEIR STAY.PARISI HOUSE INCREASED THE DIVERSITY OF ITS BOARD OF DIRECTORS, ADDING TWO NEW MEMBERS IN THE LAST FISCAL YEAR. EACH NEW BOARD MEMBER BROUGHT A VALUABLE SET OF SKILLS TO THE ORGANIZATION: FINANCE, AND FAMILIARITY WITH THE TYPE OF CLIENTS PARISI HOUSE SERVES, AS WELL AS THE REFERRAL PROCESS.PARISI HOUSE WAS SELECTED AS THE BENEFICIARY OF THE SERENO GROUP'S 1% FOR GOOD PROGRAM, RECEIVING A ONE-TIME GRANT. PARISI HOUSE'S SECOND ANNUAL GARDEN PARTY RAISED THREE TIMES AS MUCH MONEY AS IN THE PRIOR YEAR.PARISI HOUSE SUCCESSFULLY RENEWED ITS LICENSE AND CERTIFIED BY THE CALIFORNIA STATE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH CARE SERVICES, AND THE SANTA CLARA COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF ALCOHOL AND DRUG SERVICES.
