ANNUAL CONGRESS - THE SOCIETY PROVIDES INFORMATION AND EDUCATION TO ITS MEMBERS AND THOSE IN ATTENDANCE ON CURRENT DEVELOPMENTS IN PHLEBOLOGY. The Congress includes programs featuring nationally and internationally recognized phlebologists providing the necessary and most current information on venous and lymphatic disease, including diagnosis, pathophysiology, and treatment.It is the premier educational forum for vein care.
Continuing Medical Education - The ACP is an experienced and recognized leader in developing quality educational activities for physicians and allied health professionals involved in the evaluation and treatment of venous diseases. Participation in the ACPs accredited CME program allows practitioners and allied health professionals specializing in phlebology to continually improve the quality of their practice and patient care, as well as maintain licensure and board certification. The ACP is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education (CME) for physicians. ACCME accreditation is a national standard, ensuring that continuing medical education is consistent, effective and current.
Communication and Public Education - Create hardcopy and digital media to improve the publics understanding of phlebology and venous disease. Various BROCHURES AND EDUCATIONAL MATERIALS (hardcopy and digital) PROVIDE FOR INFORMATION ABOUT PHLEBLOGY AND RELATED DISEASES AND TREATMENTS TO BE DISTRIBUTED TO PATIENTS. Other means to communicate with members and general public in raising awareness of vein issues.
