To connect and cultivate Black excellence by highlighting the intersectionality of the Black community through professional development, community engagement and economic empowerment .
Each year, CBE plans CBE Week, an annual, week- long professional gathering that is bridging gaps in the Black community with the ultimate goal of promoting Black excellence, providing educational and career advancement opportunities for Black professionals, and connecting Black professionals across sectors.
The CBE gala is one of the premier events of CBE Week designed to highlight trailblazers in the Black community, highlight nonprofit organizations positively impacting the Black community, and celebrate Black excellence. Awards include the Tech Innovation Award, Community Champion Award, Impact Investor Award, Art & Culture Disruptor Award, and the Nonprofit of the Year Award
