To improve the quality of life in the San Francisco Peninsula area by supporting programs that foster educational growth and to provide financial assistance in the form of scholarships and awards.
The Delta San Francisco-Peninsula Foundation strives to create positive change in communities throughout the San Francisco Peninsula area. The Foundation, in partnership with the San Francisco Peninsula Alumnae Chapter (SFPAC) of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, offers scholarship recipients $20,000 awards and distributes $5,000 each year over a four-year period. The Foundation makes an ongoing investment in its scholarship recipients by supporting students throughout their undergraduate education.
Over the past nine years, our signature event has been our Financial Fortitude Workshop that has impacted over 1,000 individuals. Our goal in the Financial Fortitude series is to incite sound personal finance habits. Community members of all ages and stages: teens, college students, working adults and retirees have learned and practiced ways to better budget, save and invest. Our goal is to build financial health and wealth by educating one person at a time. Many of our partners and sponsors for this event have graciously given to us for more than 5 years.
