Our Mission is to empower people in poverty through outreach, advocacy, sustainable work, clean laundry, and innovative housing solutions.
During 2015, Kids and Bikes dba Worth Street Reach provided the following to the poverty stricken in Santa Barbara County: provided and maintained housing for 9-12 previously homeless seniors; placed 9 previously homeless seniors in permanent housing; supplied workforce teaching and sustainable training and graffiti removal and city beautification; supplied free laundry services. In addition, officers of our organization advocated and continued to be the voice for the voiceless in news articles and before elected officials, as well as speaking to educate numerous agencies and our community.
