IT IS THE NATION'S LARGEST COMMUNITY-BASEDPROVIDER OF COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIPS, HAVING CUMULATIVELY AWARDED INEXCESS OF $123 MILLION TO MORE THAN 50,000 COUNTY STUDENTS SINCEITS FOUNDING IN 1962. IN 2019, THE SCHOLARSHIP FOUNDATION AWARDEDA TOTAL OF $7.98 MILLION TO 2,447 SANTA BARBARA COUNTY STUDENTS.SCHOLARSHIPS FOR UNDERGRADUATES STUDYING AT FOUR-YEAR COLLEGESAND UNIVERSITIES AVERAGED $3,266. THE SCHOLARSHIP FOUNDATION OF SANTA BARBARA SERVES MORE THAN 25,000INDIVIDUALS EACH YEAR THROUGH FINANCIAL AID WORKSHOPS AND OFFICEAPPOINTMENTS. SPECIFICALLY, SCHOLARSHIP FOUNDATION PROGRAMADVISORS ASSIST STUDENTS WITH SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATIONS, HELPDECIPHER COMPLEX FEDERAL AND STATE FINANCIAL AID FORMS, ANDEXPLAIN FINANCIAL AID AWARD LETTERS AND LOAN PROGRAMS, ALLFREE OF CHARGE. OFFSITE FINANCIAL AID WORKSHOPS AND PRESENTATIONSTAKE PLACE AT AREA SCHOOLS. ONSITE FINANCIAL AID ADVISINGAPPOINTMENTS ARE AVAILABLE FOR STUDENTS AND THEIR FAMILIES INSANTA MARIA AND SANTA BARBARA.
