THE CONFERENCE SHOWCASES CUTTING-EDGE RESEARCH, INNOVATION, AND EDUCATION. THE CONFERENCE FEATURES MENTORING AND TRAINING SESSIONS FOR STUDENTS, SCIENTISTS, AND STEM PROFESSIONALS AT ALL LEVELS. CONFERENCE PROGRAMMING IS SPECIFICALLY TAILORED TO SUPPORT UNDERGRADUATE AND GRADUATE STUDENTS, PROSTDOCTORAL RESEARCHERS, AND CAREER PROFESSIONALS AT EACH TRANSITION STAGE OF THEIR ACADEMIC AND PROFESSONAL CAREERS AS THEY MOVE FORWARD TOWARDS POSITIONS OF STEM LEADERSHIP.

LEADERSHIP PROGRAMSSACNAS' LEADERSHIP PROGRAMS DEVELOP THE NEXT GENERATION OF UNDERREPRESENTED MINORITY STEM LEADERS WHOSE FUTURE CONTRIBUTIONS WILL SERVE TO STRENGTHEN AND UNIFY COMMUNITIES ON THE LOCAL, REGIONAL, AND NATIONAL LEVELS. THE LEADERSHIP TRAININGS OFFER ADVANCED STRATEGIC WORKSHOPS AND SEMINARS THAT DEVELOP CRITICAL THINKING, EMPATHY, AND LEADERSHIP SKILLS. THE TRAININGS CREATE THE EXPECTATION THAT PARTICIPANTS WILL ACTIVELY SEEK AND ASSUME STEM LEADERSHIP ROLES. SACNAS' LEADERSHIP PROGRAMS INCLUDE THE LINTON-POODRY SACNAS LEADERSHIP INSTITUTE (LPSLI), ADVANCED LEADERSHIP INSTITUTE (ALI), CHAPTER LEADERSHIP INSTITUTE (CLI), AND COMMUNITY COLLEGE LEADERSHIP DAYS (CCLD). DUE TO COVID-19 THIS PROGRAM WAS PLANCED ON HOLD.
