Organizations Filed Purposes:
To foster the German language and culture and to promote acquaintanceship and social intercourse among the members by means of social and educational activities.
Our members come from a wide range of nationalities. We meet Thursdays for dinner, drinks and social togetherness (between 30 and 60 members). We meet Fridays to play cards and games. We meet on Saturday once a month for dance and festivals (Spring, summer, Octoberfest, Xmas and New Year) (between 40 and 400 members). In December 2019, the board made a change to the Bylaw that all participants are either members paying annual dues, or limited members paying one time due on trial basis, we no longer charge admissions for our activities. Due to Covid-19, the Board has not been able to present this amendment to the Bylaw for approval by the entire membership.
