Programming and Initiatives For 2016:1. Serviced approximately 10 million people with key Certified Fit Messaging via the Tom Joyner Fantastic Voyage Cruise Broadcast of our signature health initiative. In addition, we got more than 1100 live guests to participate in Love Healthy work outs and commit to diet and exercise regimens, go see a doctor, and participate in health screenings. RFHF Health Ambassadors Brandee Evans and Eva Marcille both did radio on the TJ nationally syndicated morning show and on other networks on behalf of the The Reed For Hope Foundation to this encourage target audiences to share specific health goals around disease prevention. 2. Helped provide free testing and key messaging for several thousand people for HIV/AIDS via a partnership with the AIDS Healthcare Foundation. Los Angeles. February. 3. Keep The Promise Health and Wellness Event Partner - Summer 2016 - Cleveland Ohio. Key messaging and certified fit program commitments for several thousand regional guests with a RFHF Sunshine Award given to Hall of Fame Football Player Jim Brown. Performances by Teyana Taylor, The Roots, B.O.B, and others that attracted target audience to a presentation to encourage health advocacy and policies around Sexual Health and stigmas. 4. World AIDS Day Concert featuring Patti Labelle, Love Healthy Lounge event with vegan cuisine, and International Spoken Word Poetry Contest for Wellness Messages. Los Angeles - Dolby Center and surrounding area. Using Grammy Award Winning Artist Common, Doug E. Fresh and others, the foundation launched a national poetry contest with stipends given to lyricists that could use the power of their pen to create art that could influence their communities to better health or inspire disease prevention habits within their sphere of influence. $5,000 was rewarded to top artists. We reached artists as far as Europe and Africa as well as the North and South America with some powerful organic messages around health and wellness. 5. One In A Million and Certified Fit To Praise Campaigns partnered with Ascend Bible Study and the Merge Conference to reach faith communities with key messages, health screenings, and giveaways. Also, In 2016, THE FOUNDATION CONTINUED ITS WORK IN SEVERAL KEY AREAS TO INSPIRE DISEASEPREVENTION IN COMMUNITIES ACROSS THE COUNTRY AND AROUND THE WORLD VIA LIVE EVENTS,SOCIAL MEDIA, AND EMAIL CAMPAIGNS. THE TARGETED DISEASE Conditions FOR 2016 WERE HIV/AIDS, HEART DISEASE, STROKE, SICKLE CELL, MENTAL HEALTH, AND OTHERS. TRUE TO ITS MISSION STATEMENT, THE FOUNDATION USED SOCIAL INFLUENCERS, INNOVATIVE PROGRAMS, FREE HEALTH SCREENING, FREE HEALTH SUPPLY DISTRIBUTION, PEER TO PEER MESSAGING AND OTHERTRADITIONAL AND NON-TRADITIONAL METHODS TO IMPACT TARGET AUDIENCES. THE FOUNDATIONREACHED SEVERAL MILLION PEOPLE VIA ONLINE MESSAGING AND THOUSANDS IN PERSON THROUGH A SERIES OF EVENTS AND PROGRAMS THAT INCLUDED THE RFHF HEALTH AMBASSADOR PROGRAM, THE LOVE HEALTHY LOUNGE AND WELLNESS PAVILION, THE CERTIFIED FIT CAMPAIGNS (CERTIFIED FIT TO PARTY AND CERTIFIED FIT FOR PRAISE) AS WELL AS WORKSHOPS AND SEMINARS. BEYOND FOUNDATION FUNDRAISING EFFORTS, THESE VITAL PROGRAMS WERE PROVIDED FREE OF CHARGE TO THE TARGET AUDIENCES. AMBASSADORS ARE CAREFULLY SELECTED YEARLY BASED ON A SERIES OF FACTORS, NAMELY, THEIR DESIRE TO SERVE AND THEIR INFLUENCE ON THEIR PEERS AND THEIR FANS AS EVIDENCED BY THEIR SOCIAL MEDIA PRESENCE AND OTHERMEASUREMENTS OF THEIR ABILITY TO REACH THE TARGET AUDIENCE. RFHF RAISES FUNDS YEARLY TO COVER TRAVEL AND HONORARIUMS FOR THESE VERY SPECIAL INDIVIDUALS COMMITTED TO CHANGING LIVES.
