Organizations Filed Purposes: Our mission is to inspire, align, and mobilize action in response to the climate crisis.

Clean Power Exchange: CPX is the Center's program that advances the expansion Community Choice Energy (CCE) across California. CCE is a program available to local governments that allows them to buy and generate cleaner electricity for businesses and residents. CCE is one of the most powerful measures a local community can take to significantly and rapidly reduce its greenhouse gas emissions. The Clean Power Exchange website is a hub of resources, information, and news for stakeholders across California interested in Community Choice. We track communities' progress toward Community Choice implementation. We share resources, news, and we offer a series of webinars designed to accelerate adoption of best practices. There are now 19 CCE programs operating in California, up from 3 in 2014, offering over 6,689,000 million customers more renewable energy choices. (Continued at Schedule O.)

ECO2school: ECO2school is a service-learning program teaching climate literacy and leadership skills to high school students. Teens promote walking and biking to their peers to reduce emissions and achieve long-term personal, community, and environmental health. ECO2school worked in 12 Sonoma County schools and reached 10,084 students, of which 7,201 participated in at least one actions to reduce their emissions like riding their bike or walking more. ECO2School is also working with the Metropolitan Transportation Commission under a Spare the Air Youth Grant to reach all nine Bay Area Counties with a micro grant program which will support active transportation and greenhouse gas reduction. (Continued at Schedule O.)

Building the Movement: The Center's program that educates the public and key stakeholders about the climate crisis and key solutions that will reduce greenhouse gas emissions. We do this through multiple media through printed media, our website,Face Book and Twitter, our enewsletter, through studies and reports, and also through public meetings and events. Our annual report also outlines the solutions that we are implementing though our programs and is available on our website. Here are examples of reports that we have produced in 2017-18: State of Solar Energy in Sonoma County: Paths to Accelerate Adoption, Survey of Global Activity to Phase Out Internal Combustion Engine Vehicles, and Sonoma County Greenhouse Gas Report for 2016.
