Organizations Filed Purposes:
SRYSL provides youth amateur sports programs that benefit nearly 3000 youth ages 4 to 19 by teaching soccer, sporting behavior, and general athletics.
The mission of SRYSL is to provide a soccer program for youth in the greater Santa Rosa area. The program will offer the opportunity for participants to play soccer at a level appropriate to their commitment level and skills. The program will include training that enables players to improve, advance, and develop a love of the game.
Team formation, soccer training events and organized games between teams. Volunteer coaches were recruited and approximately 200 teams formed and divided into playing groups by age and ability. Games were scheduled and officiated by licensed referees.
Soccer Tournaments. The League organized and conducted a recreational tournament in addition to the regular season games. The City Cup Tournament in October had approximately 50 teams Santa Rosa participating.
