Organizations Filed Purposes:
To provide funding for the finest collaborative research teams at four world-class beneficiaries located in San Diego. It is our goal that research funded by Padres Pedal the Cause will lead to increased survivorship and ultimately, cures for cancer. 100 of all donations go directly to our beneficiaries.
To provide funding for the best cancer research ideas in San Diego through an annual bike challenge. All proceeds from Pedal the Cause stay in San Diego to fund innovative and collaborative cancer research.
100 of peer-to-peer fundraising as part of Padres Pedal the Cause will go to Moores Cancer Center at San Diego Health, the Salk Institute for Biological Studies, Sanford Burnham Prebys Medical Discovery Institute and Radys Childrens Hospital San Diego for the benefit of Cancer Research. Furthermore, the above referenced organizations are recognized as exempt 501 C 3 organizations that are public charities, whose purposes fulfill the exempt purpose of the Organization. The Organization has entered into a memorandum of understanding with all the above referenced organizations to cooperate in the Organizations mission of promoting awareness and its fundraising efforts for cancer research.
