The mission of the UpValley Family Centers is to provide guidance, support and resources in the community, in the home and for the individual so that everyone can achieve a better life. We serve youth, adults and families in the communities of Calistoga, St. Helena and surrounding areas of Deer Park, Angwin, Pope Valley, Lake Berryessa, Oakville, and Rutherford in northern Napa County. We work with dozens of partner organizations to bring services up valley.

Family & Senior Wellness - Programs and services include: health insurance outreach, enrollment, referrals for counseling services, case management, domestic violence services, parenting services, senior social groups, and disaster relief and recovery. The Organization helped 442 people to apply for health insurance, 300 households with emergency financial assistance, 153 adults with parenting education and support, 260 seniors with information and referral or groups, and 23 clients with domestic violence services.
Education - Programs and services include: parent/child playgroups, early literacy and school readiness for entering kindergartners, ESL and adult literacy classes, youth mentoring at junior senior high schools, and coordination of social service partners on school campuses. The Organization served 142 children ages 2-5 and their parents through playgroups, 225 elementary students with school-based tutoring, 152 middle and high school students with mentoring or diversion services, and 105 adults with adult education.
Community Engagement - Programs and services include: immigrant integration services, coordination of health promotora volunteers, community coalition to prevent youth drug and alcohol use, and community education and outreach. The Organization assisted 73 people with citizenship or other immigration applications, trained 12 volunteer promotoras to conduct census 2020 outreach and education reaching 2,496 people, and reached over 100 youth and adults with drug and alcohol prevention education.
