Organizations Filed Purposes:
The Aeronautical Educational Foundation does business as "Stockton Field Aviation Museum". The Foundation is a nonprofit all volunteer organization that is dedicated to the preservation of our country's rich aviation history. Our museum has a special emphasis on WWII aviation and the equipment that was used by the people who designed, built, maintained and flew the aircraft of our country's greatest generation. We are dedicated to preserve the material, technical information and the stories of not only Stockton Field but of all of our country's military aviation heritage.
THE FOUNDATION PARTICIPATED IN AIRSHOWS ALONG THE WEST COAST OF THE U.S., AND PUT ON A 3-DAY "LIVING HISTORY EVENT" PROVIDING EDUCATIONAL EXPERIENCES FOR PARTICIPANTS. IT ALSO PROVIDED EXPERIENCE FLIGHTS FOR WWII VETERANS AROUND THE SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA. THE FOUNDATION PROVIDED EXPERIENCES FOR WWII VETERANS WHO HAD FLOWN DURING THE WAR IN THE SAME TYPE OF AIRCARFT THE FOUNDATION OWNS, FLYING THEM TO AIRSHOWS ON THE WEST COAST. THE FOUNDATION HELD BI-MONTHLY MEETINGS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC WHEREIN INVITED RETIRED MILITARY PILOTS RELATED STORIES OF THEIR EXPERIENCES IN UNIFORM TO ATTENDEES.
