SCAP:The Chamber's SCAP (Stockton Chamber Apprentice Program) Employment Specialists, during the last quarter (2019-20) and first part of 2020-21 calendar year were able to place in employment many clients that benefited them and the business community! At the beginning of the horrific COVID-19 Pandemic , in coordination with our Membership Director, Roxy Jewel-Richardson , they also provided critical and much appreciated membership outreach, retention and attraction support during the start of the Corona Virus and continues now!
Leadership:"The Leadership Stockton Class of 2020 graduated 24 more community leaders. During their class year the Leadership Stockton Class of 2020 chose Micke Grove Zoo for their community service project and installed a new outdoor educational area at the zoo."
COVID-19:The Greater Stockton Chamber of Commerce has maintained 95% of membership since December 2019 despite the COVID-19 pandemic and business shutdowns. Our unique programs and resources have proven to be invaluable during these unpredictable times."When the stay at home orders hit in March 2020 the Greater Stockton Chamber of Commerce ramped up their communications to the community by revamping the website to include a "COVID Business Resources" section and changing the featured events blog into a blog featuring the latest news for business. We also established a Friday Newsletter that goes out to 2000+ email addresses with all the Important News From the Week complied in one place." "The Greater Stockton Chamber of Commerce has grown our social media followers and eblast mailing list by becoming the go to source for the up to date news effecting business."We have grown our social media followers and blast mailing list by an average of 15%
