BLOCK71 SAN FRANCISCO:BLOCK71 SAN FRANCISCO was established to further enhance the NUS Overseas Colleges (NOC) program and enhance National University of Singapore (NUS) students' and alumni's entrepreneurial experience, a co-working and incubator space has been set up in San Francisco to offer early and growth stage Singaporean startups assistance to explore the US market, access business opportun1t1es and establish new customer relat1onsh1ps NOC interns, NUS students and alumni, as well as startups from Singapore use the space for marketing events, and conduct business activities.

NUS Overseas Colleges Silicon Valley:NUS Overseas Colleges Silicon Valley(NCSV) aims to cultivate dynamic and resourceful entrepreneurs by immersing a selected group of NUS students in the entrepreneurial and academic environment in Silicon Valley. Students will return with a paradigm shift in mindset, motivated to promote the entrepreneurial spirit among NUS students and create an entrepreneurial hub in Singapore. This program 1s designed for students to spend one year as interns in technology-based startups. At the same time, students will, concurrently, attend entrepreneurship and d1sc1pline-based courses offered by Stanford Un1vers1ty, other 1nst1tut1ons in Silicon Valley as well as courses provided by NUS. NUS has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Stanford Centre for Professional Development (SCPD) to develop collaboration between the 2 Inst1tut1ons. As part of this agreement, NCSV students will take entrepreneurship courses together with the regular Stanford students. Credits gained from these courses will be transferred to NUS for partial fulfillment of NUS degree requirements. The agreement also provides for Joint course development and research collaboration in entrepreneurship. There are 2 intakes per year. All full time NUS undergraduates preferably in their 4th or 5th semesters who have obtained 80 Modular Credits (MCs) by January or July are eligible to apply. They will spend 12 months in Silicon Valley before returning to NUS to complete the rest of their Bachelor degree requirements. NUS Overseas Colleges New York:NUS Overseas Colleges New York was formed to accomplish the object1ve of the National University of Singapore (NUS) to cultivate leading entrepreneurs by immersing a highly selected group of NUS students in startup dynamics and d1stingu1sh academic environment, the NUS College in Silicon Valley (NCSV) was established in 2001. This was followed by the launch of the NUS College in Bio Valley (NCBV) in 2002. The NCBV program ceased operation in December 2014. A new program, the NUS College in New York (NCNY) was opened in January 2014 in New York City. The NCNY program 1s designed to build on the successes of the NCSV and NCBV programs, with adaptations to take advantage of the exciting opportun1t1es in the fast-growing and vibrant tech scene in New York City across all d1g1tal and technology sectors. NUS students will spend a year as interns in tech startups and in parallel they will attend entrepreneurship courses at Partner University. NYU Tandon School of engineering (formerly known as NYU polytechnic school of Engineering). Students are expected to return to Singapore with a paradigm shift in mindset, motivated to promote the entrepreneurial spirit among NUS students and create an entrepreneurial hub in Singapore.
