Our mission is to provide quality interim housing, hope and resources to help otherwise house-less people find permanent homes.
In 2020, opened three new residential locations increasing overall capacity to over 39,000 bed nights with more than 117,000 meals, navigated the global corona-virus pandemic with minimal infections and no deaths, forged partnership with LA County's Department of Health Services to assist people exiting quarantine, isolation and institutional settings to find and maintain housing stability, conducted on-site COVID screening and testing, reconfigured locations to exceed recommended infection control protocols, and developed remote access platforms to connect residents with supportive services. On-site self-help meetings and access center services were temporarily suspended due to health care concerns. In 2020 we were granted tax exempt status retroactive to 2018 formation under IRS code section 501(c)3.
