The San Francisco Succulent and Cactus Society is a non-profit educational organization promoting the study and cultivation of succulent and other xerophytic plants.
Meetings are held on the third Tuesday of each month are are open to both members and non-members. The general meeting features educational lectures, plant specimen and discussions of plants. In addition to disseminating plant information, the club and its members contribute both time and money to aid habitat protection as well as lending support to both state and nationwide succulent organizations that promote and are dedicated to succulent plants.
