Patient & Family Health Education SessionsAt PADRES, one of our main priorities for our children and families is to be well-versed in all aspects of health education. Our monthly, bilingual (Spanish/English) classes are designed to educate all members of the family on such topics as childhood cancer and other related blood disorders, psychosocial issues, nutrition, physical fitness and general family health.
Ask the Doctor Learning SessionsCommunicating with doctors and clinicians in a busy, complex medical setting can be extremely intimidating. This monthly, bilingual workshop offers parents and family members an opportunity to interact with different oncology specialists in an informal setting and discuss general issues about their childs diagnosis and treatment.
