Organizations Filed Purposes:
NORTHSTAR RACE TEAM INC. SUBSIDIZES COACHING AND TRAVEL EXPENSES, EQUIPMENT, LODGING, DUES AND MEMBERSHIPS FOR THE NORTHSTAR SKI TEAM WHICH PROVIDES OPPORTUNITIES AND TRAINING FOR ATHLETES AGES 4 TO ADULT. ATHLETES ARE TRAINED BY CERTIFIED INSTRUCTORS AND COMPETE IN RACES HOSTED BY THE NORTHSTAR RACE TEAM AND AT OTHER SKI AREAS.
The Northstar Team Foundation provides the base of support to coaching staff and Team athletes through scholarships, education and a dedicated hill space for training. This year, scholarships were awarded to over 30 athletes for tuition and traveling expenses related to high level competitions. The coaching staff received grants to fulfill training opportunities and further their education.
