The mission of The Village Method is to save black youth from falling through the cracks of the public education system and engage families throughout the academic journey.
Demand for culturally responsive community based programming is great in our region. In 2019, we have served over 200 families which makes up 200+ youth and 500+ parents/guardians in Alameda County. Additionally, we've partnered with CSU East Bay and Chabot College to host professional development, youth leadership and advocacy events; we've also engaged 300+ attendees at our community events, which includes school administrators, elected officials, youth leaders, local clergy and community members.
