THE SPECIFIC PURPOSE OF THIS CORPORATION IS TO ASSIST IN THE ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT AND MAINTENANCE OF A SUPERIOR MUSICAL EDUCATIONAL SYSTEM AT UPLAND HIGH SCHOOL. THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDED: ENTRY FEES FOR PARTICIPATION BY UPLAND HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS IN COMPETITION AND SHOW EVENTS; FUNDS FOR MEMBERS TO PARTICIPATE IN LEADERSHIP SEMINARS, MUSIC AND COLOR GUARD CAMPS; AND PURCHASE OF MUSIC, UNIFORMS AND EQUIPMENT. THE ORGANIZATION ALSO FUNDED PARTICIPATION IN COMPETITIONS THROUGHOUT SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA.
The organization successfully assisted the music program at Upland High School by providing entry fees and travel expenses for the Regiment to compete in show events throughout California, Band Camp, Color Guard Camps, the purchase and repair of musical instruments and uniforms and other equipment, as well as salaries for music, colorguard, drill and percussion instructors.
