TO PROVIDE WORKING POOR FAMILIES, AS WELL AS HOMELESS MEN, WOMEN, AND CHILDREN OF ALL AGES WITH THE INNER RESOURCES AND TOOLS TO BECOME PRODUCTIVE, STABLE AND SELF-SUPPORTING MEMBERS OF THE COMMUNITY.
IN FY18-19 WE SERVED 9,936 MEN, WOMEN AND CHILDREN WITH A RANGE OF LIFE-CHANGING PROGRAMS ARRANGED INTO FOUR PILLARS: OUTREACH & ENGAGEMENT SERVICES, HOUSING SERVICES, MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES, AND EDUCATION & VOCATIONAL SERVICES.OUR OUTREACH & ENGAGEMENT SERVICES ASSISTED 7,327 PEOPLE: STREET-BASED MULTIDISCIPLINARY TEAMS, WALK-IN CENTERS, AND FOOD ASSISTANCE SERVICES HELP HOMELESS AND LOW-INCOME MEN, WOMEN, AND CHILDREN GAIN ACCESS TO HOUSING AND OTHER RESOURCES THAT LEAD TO SELF-SUFFICIENCY. HIGHLIGHTS: ENGAGED 6,163 HOMELESS MEN, WOMEN, AND CHILDREN THROUGH OUTREACH/IN-REACH EFFORTS, AND ASSISTED THEM THROUGH HOUSING NAVIGATION, HOUSING PLACEMENT, REFERRALS, AND MORE; SERVED 22,972 HOT, NUTRITIOUS MEALS TO HOMELESS MEN AND WOMEN AT BREAD AND ROSES CAF; AND DISTRIBUTED ENOUGH FRUIT, VEGETABLES, BREAD, MILK, EGGS, AND OTHER STAPLE ITEMS FOR FAMILIES WHO VISITED 27,345 OUR FOOD PANTRY.
OUR HOUSING SERVICES ASSISTED 2,591 PEOPLE: PERMANENT SUPPORTIVE HOUSING AND RAPID RE-HOUSING SERVICES ASSIST HOMELESS FAMILIES AND INDIVIDUALS TO OBTAIN AND MAINTAIN HOUSING STABILITY. HIGHLIGHTS: NEWLY PLACED 898 HOMELESS PEOPLE INTO PERMANENT HOUSING; ASSISTED 457 FORMERLY HOMELESS MEN, WOMEN, AND CHILDREN WHO HAVE BEEN HOUSED FOR TO RETAIN THEIR STABLE HOUSING.
OUR MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES ASSISTED 661 PEOPLE: THERAPY AND OTHER FORMS OF SUPPORT HELP CLIENTS IMPACTED BY MENTAL HEALTH ISSUES LEAD FULLER, MORE INDEPENDENT LIVES. HIGHLIGHTS: PROVIDED 20,000 LIFE-CHANGING FACE-TO-FACE CLINICAL SERVICES TO HELP IMPROVE CLIENTS' STABILITY, SELF-SUFFICIENCY, AND QUALITY OF LIFE; CONNECTED 53% OF CLIENTS TO ADDITIONAL OUTREACH, EDUCATION, AND MENTAL HEALTH PROGRAMS.
