ALL SERVICES ARE AT NO COST AND CONFIDENTIALLICENSED MEDICAL SERVICES: OUR LICENSED MEDICAL PROFESSIONALS PROVIDED 247 PREGNANCYTESTS AND PERFORMED 177 ULTRASOUNDS IN 2019. OUR VOLUNTEER MEDICAL PROFESSIONALSPROVIDED 500 HOURS OF SERVICES TO PHC. 169 PATIENTS CHOSE TO PARENT THEIR CHILD. 38OF THOSE PATIENTS WERE ABORTION VULNERABLE. OUR RNS PROVIDED PRENATAL VITAMINS ANDHEALTHY PREGNANCY INFORMATION TO PATIENTS UPON THEIR REQUEST. ALL MEDICAL SERVICESARE AT NO COST AND CONFIDENTIAL.
Abstinence Education: The ImWaiting program provides evidence-based information to youth, young adults, and parents about the emotional, physical, and relational consequences of sexual activity. The program empowers participants to make decisions regarding their sexual health based on knowledge. ImWaiting encourages risk avoidance as opposed to risk reduction. ImWaiting empowers parents with knowledge to start and continue conversations regarding risk behaviors and healthy relationships with their children.
PARENTING SERVICES: WE PROVIDED PARENTING AND LIFE SKILLS CLASSES FOR PARENTS ANDTHEIR CHILDREN FROM PRENATAL THROUGH THREE YEARS OF AGE TO 371 PREGNANT AND PARENTING MOMS AND DADS IN 2019 WITH THE HELP OF 1,109 VOLUNTEER HOURS. THIS PROGRAM OFFERS ONGOING PARENTAL SUPPORT INCLUDING HEALTHY RELATIONSHIPS AND FINANCIAL BUDGETING. THESE CLASSES ARE TAUGHT BY MENTORS WHO MEET WEEKLY WITH PARTICIPANTS. ATTENDING CLASSES ALLOWS PARENTS TO RECEIVE MATERIAL RESOURCES INCLUDING DIAPERS, FORMULA,CLOTHING, NEW CARS SEATS AND BABY FURNITURE.
