Organizations Filed Purposes:
Childrens Skin Disease Foundation is a non-profit corporation dedicated to improving the lives of children with skin disease and their families. All money raised goes towards covering the costs of programming for children afflicted with chronic and life-threatening skin disease.
Camp Wonder - Camp Wonder is a week-long, overnight camp for children and young adults with chronic and life-threatening skin disease. Each summer 100 children attend camp, with a staff of 150. All expenses for both children and staff are covered.Note; programming expenses increased more than anticipated because of increased airfare costs for campers. The Boeing 737 Max safety issues, causing the plane to be pulled out of service, increased the prices of airfare, especially for our preferred airline Southwest. We increased the number of children that we serve needing transportation as well.
Wonder Wish - Wonder Wish grants wishes to children who have attended Camp Wonder.
Public Awareness - One of our missions is to raise awareness about skin disease to improve the way children with skin disease are received in public.
