PROVIDES CONTRACT NEGOTIATION, LABOR SERVICE CONTRACT ADMINISTRATION AND INDUSTRY ADVOCACY SERVICES TO APPROXIMATELY 1,000 CONTRACTORS AND CONSTRUCTION-RELATED FIRMS THROUGHOUT CALIFORNIA. PRIMARY SOURCES OF REVENUE ARE FROM MEMBER DUES AND ADMINISTRATION FEES FOR SERVICES.
TO PROMOTE RELATIONS BETWEEN GENERAL CONTRACTORS AND OTHER MEMBERS OF THE CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY: REDUCE CONSTRUCTION COSTS THROUGH RESEARCH AND COOPERATION WITH OTHER CONSTRUCTION AGENCIES; REDUCE THE OCCURRENCE OF INJURIES AND DEATH TO CONSTRUCTION WORKMEN; SUPPORT CONTRACTORS AND CONTRACTORS ASSOCIATIONS IN EFFORTS TO RECTIFY UNSATISFACTORY CONDITIONS RELATED TO CONSTRUCTION; ENCOURAGE SOUND BUSINESS METHODS TENDING TO RAISE THE STANDARD OF CONTRACTORS IN GENERAL. SERVICES ARE PROVIDED TO ABOUT 1,000 CONSTRUCTION RELATED MEMEBERS.
PROVIDE A METHOD OF MAINTAINING FAVORABLE PUBLIC RELATIONS AND RELATIONS WITH OTHER GOVERNMENT AGENCIES IN NEGOTIATING FOR AND ENTERING INTO EQUITABLE AGREEMENTS RELATING TO HOURS, WAGES, AND WORKING CONDITIONS OF CONSTRUCTION WORKMEN.
TO ESTABLISH VARIOUS STANDARD CONTRACTS AND TO COORDINATE SUCH CONTRACTS WITH EACH OTHER SO THAT THE RESPECTIVE INTEREST OF OWNERS, GENERAL CONTRACTORS, SUBCONTRACTORS, MANUFACTURERS, AND DEALERS MAY BE PROPERLY PROTECTED.
