The Catholic Foundation in the Archdiocese of Dubuque (CFAD) assists donors who wish to make a meaningful and lasting impact for Catholic organizations and those served by those organizations through the Spiritual and Corporal Works of Mercy. CFAD serves those in the 30 counties in northeast Iowa that make up the Archdiocese of Dubuque in two primary ways: investment and granting of charitable funds and legacy giving services.CFAD receives and manages assets via Catholic responsible investing to provide perpetual funding for Catholic parishes, schools and ministries. In FY2020, 15 new funds were added for such purposes and $2,653,253 in grants were given to 109 organizations.CFAD works with Catholic organizations and their donors through its legacy giving program. In FY20, three new organizations began the program through CFAD. Thousands of individuals in the area sought information through CFAD's services regarding charitable giving.
