Organizations Filed Purposes: Bite Size Vegan simplifies the complexities of veganism through engaging and approachable educational content-creating new vegans and equipping existing vegans with the tools they need to get active. Believing in the power of an informed public, Bite Size Vegan provides free, open-access to right-to-know information in a digestible format. Bite Size Vegan fills a unique space in vegan activism and advocacy by bringing together the accessibility of engaging social-media content with the integrity and depth of research-backed, transparently-cited educational information. By helping people make the connection that veganism-far from an extreme way of life-is simply aligning our actions with the values we already have, Bite Size Vegan strives to end the pervasive exploitation of non-human animals.

Bite Size Vegan is an ever-expanding, open-access educational resource of information on all aspects of veganism. Provided as a free public service, Bite Size Vegan purposefully utilizes mediums and approaches tailored to modern methods of information consumption, including: digital media (namely educational videos with cited articles and additional resources on BiteSizeVegan.org), social media-based content, and live speeches tailored to each audience's cultural, social, and additional informing considerations. There is a lot of information, misinformation, and disinformation on veganism-Bite Size Vegan makes it simple, accessible, and approachable. From thoroughly researched academic reports, to engaging videos for kids, to moving mini-documentary videos, Bite Size Vegan provides a wide range of educational approaches for various learning styles, and emphasizes the diversity of veganism-because it's not about changing who you are, just what you do in relation to non-human animals.

Bite Size Vegan's primary program service is the creation of free, educational content and resources as a public service-openly accessible on BiteSizeVegan.org, as well as connected social media platforms. The reach of the content with available analytics shows (as of December 31, 2017): Total time spent watching the educational videos: 123 years, 305 days; The videos have been viewed in at least 117 countries (the maximum countries available in current analytics); Total times educational videos have been accessed: 15,868,922; Number of free educational videos and articles: 356; Current subscribers and followers accessing educational content across connected platforms: 168,217 YouTube / 11,888 Newsletter / 40,494 Facebook page followers / 41,003 Facebook page likes / 65K Instagram / 11.87K Twitter; Total reach of Bite Size Vegan content on Facebook from as far back as currently available (November 2016) through December 31, 2017: 1,470,285 views.

Another public service provided by Bite Size Vegan are custom-tailored speeches, delivered at no cost. In 2017, Emily Moran Barwick researched, wrote, produced and delivered speeches for non-vegan and vegan audiences, at events, conferences and within schools. Speeches for non-vegan audiences addressed the ethical, environmental, health-based, and sociological impact of all animal products industries and other forms of exploitation. Speeches for vegan audiences addressed how to increase the effectiveness of activism and outreach. Events included: three panels at the Animal Rights Conference (Washington, D.C.); Cleveland VegFest (Cleveland, OH); VegMichigan VegFest (Detroit, Michigan); Two sessions of the class "Contemporary Issues Through Video Conferencing" (Passaic Valley Regional High School in Little Falls, New Jersey).
