Organizations Filed Purposes: The mission is to educate the public, interpret and protect Johnson County history.

Maintain collections, exhibits and research functions of the Johnson County Historical Society Museum in Coralville, IA Manage and interpret three historical areas: Plum Grove Historic Home, the 1855 Johnson County Poor Farm and Asylum in Iowa City, IA and the 1876 Schoolhouse in Coralville, IA.
