A successful capital campaign and volunteer effort allowed us to purchase and renovate two historic homes for organization in Iowa Citys northside neighborhood.One of five organizations nationally to be awarded a VIA/Wagner Incubator grant for our Center for Afrofuturist Studies program. Also received grant funding from Iowa Arts Council, Black Art Futures Fund, and the mediaThe Foundation.
