At Iowa Farm Sanctuary, we provide a safe haven to rescued farm animals in need of love and compassion while providing humans the opportunity to experience the unique sentience and intelligence found within these animals.
Our operation costs include vehicle maintenance, facility maintenance, property upkeep, bedding for stalls, insurance costs, office supplies, and merchandise that is sold on our website and during events. This also includes purchasing farm equipment that is used to maintain a safe and functioning home for the rescued animals. No persons are benefited through this service.
We provide a safe home to a variety of species of farm animals. This requires purchasing remade buildings as well as constructing new buildings and shelters. Each group of animals have their own specific needs in regards to shelters. Part of providing a safe home includes providing the animals with food that is specific to their species to assure they receive the appropriate nutrients they require. No persons are benefited through this service.
The veterinary care provided to the variety of farm animal species. This includes general healthcare, unexpected emergencies, specialized surgeries, and post death care. No persons are benefited through this service.
